Splendor in the Grass

I'm listening to Pink Martini, Hang on little tomato, I discovered this song 10 minutes ago, and this is the 3rd time I'm listening to it....
Outside it's pouring, it's cold, and it looks like an October Saturday morning, not an August morning.
So, this is the perfect time for a blog post!
Yesterday, when the weather looked like an August day, my sister and her husband, and Mr and I hiked out in Colli Euganei, in Valsanzibio
I took with me my little camera, but there were something that didn't work with colours...I took anyway some photos (I have to understand what's happened to her!), and here's our hike!

A good weekend

New week, new season, new positive thoughts!
After a very bad Friday, I had a wonderful weekend:
On Saturday, Mr and I met my childhood friends and we had a very huge and good dinner, we talked about how life changes when you decide to start to live together with your boyfriend/girlfriend...it seems boyfriends discover so many new things about their girlfriends... how important is cleaning, how important is having a neaten house, and so on...
Mr and I don't live together, yet. Despite all the things we heard, despite how boys scared my Mr telling him "Don't do this! You're in time!It's going to be a nightmare!You will regret!", well, we still want to live together asap!
Because we think that waking up in the morning together, living all the little things together, is priceless!
On Sunday, I met a pretty lady while I was biking, now she's living in Dubai, but she's here in Italy for some days! I was so happy to meet her!
In the afternoon I was with Mr and little Didi (do you remember?) for a walk in the Park... and this was all I need!!

I'm still not Michael Phelps...

Do you remember when, last year, I told to you that I was learning to swim?

Well, this year I can totally tell you that I can swim. 

On Saturday I did 40 (I'm not lying) laps. 1 km!!!!I did every lap by breaststroke... and where I can't hit the rock bottom....isn't it great?!?

And for this I just have to thank my sweet teacher Mr!!!

....we have a guest, that purrs, that jumps everywhere, that has a wonderful fur, that wakes me up in the morning scratching the door with her little nails....

 

She is my sister's little cat!

In these hot, wet heat days, I try to keep myself busy...

- almost every morning I take a walk in "my" little park

- I ride my bike and I find some new places

- I'm reading a lot

I'm reading "L'arte di ascoltare i battiti del cuore"

And I hope that vacation arrive soon for my Mr so I'll spend some more time with him!!

Summer lazy days

Gooodmorning!!!
Yesterday my camera received two little gifts, thanks to my "photo-teacher"....I didn't use my "little girl" for two weeks, so yesterday I took some photos...

I'm trying to be busy...I think I'll work a lot on this little blog, and on vacation, and on photos, and on my future, and on travels....oh!so many things to do!!!
