Life lately

Hi my dear friends!

In these last days I tried to write down a post, I don't know how many times.
Something not very happy is happened to the nephew of a friend of mine.
When bad things happened, you change your prospective in a lot of things. Everything is not more "important", you start think that family, and friends are the only things that matters in this world. Sometimes friends become family, and so, if they feel bad you feel bad too.
I don't have so many friends, but the one I have are the right ones. And the best one.

Once in the week I have my lunch break with my sister.
I feel fine and comfortable with her. We talk about our men, our lives, our houses. And yes, it's great to know that, in this world, exixts a person that shares so many things with me.

I have bought the dvd of Littel Women. When I was a child, I watched this movie during Christmas holidays.... :)

Thumbs up for Skype!!! with it I can talk for the whole day with my Mr, and with my colleagues. Do you know what's the best part of it? I laugh. A lot. But people around me don't know why I laugh. :)

I wanna go to the mountains! I really need to spend a day walking through nature, breathing good air, and watching wonderful landscapes.

So, I wish you a wonderful week, so, tomorrow will be Wednesday, quite good ;)

Have a great week!

Photo taken in our holiday in Amsterdam
I was writing a post about our holidays, but I found some happy things that I wanna share with you:

- This made me think a lot: nature is a theme I've always loved, I think I don't do enough for it. I would love to live my life and start living more connected to Nature, like living in the mountains, next to Nature, Mother Nature
- I love artists: I love people who creates. For a little time I came back to my childhood, looking at Elisa Ferro's creations
- This week we're probably gonna to the cinema to watch this
- I have a pumpkin in my house...I have to try something like these
- It's time to plant these!!

Have a very very nice week my friends!!

A lot of photos from Expò :)

Oh yes!!!
On Friday September 11th we visited Expò.
I wasn't so happy about this, I didn't had much expectations....and I was totally wrong!!!!
I loved it, I liked every Pavillion (more or less) and thought everybody should visit it.
I liked more the UK Pavillion: you take a stroll in a garden, as you were a bee!
We didn't visit some "important" Pavilions, because there was too queue, like the Italian, the German and the Japan one...but, we really had a great time!!!
Here's some advice if you wanna visit Expò:
- we bought our tickets with a agreement with a supermarket
- we arrived at Expò at 1:00 pm, and we entered without waiting in line
- we walked, and walked, and walked a loooooot
- there are a lot of wc
- there are a lot of drinking fountains inside Expò, so take a bottle of water with you, you can fill up with free water
- foods and beverages cost. A lot. But sometimes you cannot do it!we ate a great crepe...
- at 6:00 p.m.tickets for Expò cost 5,00€ so...in the evening it is more crowed than during the day
- if you can, try to stay at Expò even in the evening, some pavillions are wonderful!

- siamo arrivati all'Expo alle 12:00 e non abbiamo fatto coda all'entrata

Good intentions

When I was on holiday, I had a looot of time for thinking.
And now, that is the beginning of September, I want to make a list of all the things I wanna do because they make me happy.

1. Improve my photography abilities, I wanna live thanks to this...one day. So, before I start, before I'll start doing something I really love
2. Watching a new movie every month
3. Reading EVERY evening before falling asleep
4. Leaving my office without working extra hours (for free....)
5. Walking almost 30 minutes everyday, without listening to music, just listening to the sound of nature
6. Trying new a new recipe every month
7. Giving yoga another chance
8. Taking some me time
9. Singing while having a shower, because it's the best place for being myself!
10. Celebrate everyday with a song!!

Pack your bags: Isola d'Elba

Gooood morning everybody!
Happy last day of August!
As you probably saw from my instagram page, I was on holiday, in an amazing island of Italy, Elba Island.
I took so many naps, cradled by the waves of the sea, I read a book and a half (The All-Girl Filling Station's Last Reunion, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea), I thought a lot about my life, I did many crosswords, and I swam in wonderful seas.
I really couldn't ask for more from this summer.

After a trip of 3/4 hours (I don't remember), we arrived in Piombino, we took the ferry and we arrived in Elba Island (we took the ticket of the ferry in advance, so we took the ferry almost in time...)

This is what I've learnt: for swimming in a beautiful sea, you have to see in which direction the wind blows.
The first day we went to the beach "La Biodola": the sea was very very good, and we had a very relaxing time...

The second day, because of the wind, we went to the beach called "Sansone", the weather forecast weren't good, but we decided to go to the beach anyway....and we were very very lucky! because we were almost alone in the most beautiful beach of the island....
Mr, my brother-in-law and I swam and arrived to the huge rocks you see in the middle of the photo. The water were fantastic, sea bottom were amazing, we swam through fishes, some of them looked like Nemo!

....this was a very very cool beach!
I left my heart here!
