And so this is how October is going to end

Here the weather is crazy....it's quite hot for being the end of October and it's wet and my hair looks like a nest.

In these days I'm having good times: I met old friends, I wear Doc Martens, and I'm in the period when I think that things and life is good. Hope this period lasts.

Yesterday evening I watched a wonderful movie.

For the first time since a lot of time I watch a movie from the beginning to the end, and I didn't fell asleep! (a big goal to me!)

The movie was Albert Nobbs, a very amazing movie, I hugely reccomend it!

By the way, this weekend I really had a wonderful time:

Mr and I spent our Saturday evening having dinner in Giò's brand new house. Giò is one of my best friends, we met when we were 6 years old, and we are still friends!She moved with her boyfriend, one month and half ago...their house is wooooonderful!I love it!

On Sunday we had a huge lunch with all my family, because my cousin is back from Paris!

Mr and I spent a lot of time watching at two photography books (one of Robert Doisneau, and one about Paris, its title was "Paris, mon amour", so lovely!)

Mr and I went to the park, and we took some photos...that I cannot share with you because of my super pc!

I'm wearing a perfect black nail polish (for my Mr's happiness!)

My Thursday according to my smartphone

Yesterday was a good day.
I felt fine, I found a really amazing dress (that I'm going o buy asap, thank you my friends for your support!), and I walked around my city.

Something new is happening to me: since I've started to take photos, I saw the world in a new way, I now see a lot of new things on buildings, all the details that before I didn't see.

It's a good way for looking at the world!

Monte Ortigara

When Mr was in Rosenheim for the Herbstfest with our University friends, I hiked over Monte Ortigara with my sister, her husband and my brother-in-law's father.
It was fresh, cloudy, and I hade a great time (if Mr was there I probably had much fun!)

Oh no, Monday again!

In my grandpa's garden, there's a very big hazelnut tree.
So, every autumn we have a lot of hazelnuts.
Yesterday, while Mr and I were having a walk, it started raining cats and dogs.

So I thought, why can't we make a cake with hazelnuts?

And the taste and smell of fall arrived in our home!

It was so funny cooking with my Mr!

Every Sunday evenings I think "Why doesn't exist a day between Saturday and Sunday?!?"

I became an assistent for a day!

Well, yesterday I had a very great timeee!!!!

Do you remember that on spring/summer I had photography classes?

Yesterday I went to a shooting with my teacher, I was his assistent!!

It's so wonderful!and it's a very wonderful world! 

At the end of the day I was tired but happy, and even a bit surprised. Yes, because I saw that in a shooting you really use your camera for a very little time. It's all about lights, shadows...and lights again, and of course what you photograph (we were taking photos of design washbasins, I don't know if I can put here some photos, I have to ask!).

By the way, I don't know if I'm going to help him other times, but I really hope so!

Yesterday afternoon I spanned the centuries

I studied ancient Greek, and Latin for 5 years when I was at high school.
I've always loved that world, I'm fascinated by that culture where philosophy, tragedy, commedy, geometry, ..., were born.
For me, reading a book set in the Ancient period, is something amazing.
A man who knows (I think) everything about this period is Valerio Massimo Manfredi (just take a look at his biography...).
I first met him more than 10 years ago, during a lecture at our school, he talked about his book, then he signed my book, and nothing more. It was a good way to spend a different morning at school.
Yesterday I saw him again. But this time something was different. I was there because I really wanted to be there, to hear him talking about Odysseus's journey, breathing that pure and magic athmosphere that just a man like him is able to create.
I spent an hour and half listening at him, in a room like this, and it was something great, next to my sister.
Then, he signed my book, and I told him that I met him more then 10 years ago, when I was at school.
He answered me with a joke, I laugh, and I went away.
My face was burning, but I was dancing inside...

Mushrooms

Mushrooms, this year I LOVE YOU!!!!!
I don't know why, but this fall, I would eat mushrooms everyday.....!
Yesterday was a good day! The sun shined, and I could enjoy a little piece of  fall walking trough my little park, and taking some photos!
Something is going to be better! I have a lot of things to do, and I can tell you that this is a great thing, because my mind is always busy. And that's the best thing, ever!

Wet fall

I try to love fall, but when days are shorter, when it's cold and wet outside, and you have to put on a wool sweater beacause you're freezing....well, in these moments, I fall in love with summer.
But then I look at pinterest photos about fall...and well....I change my mind....

Here nothing really important happened.
In this weekend I find out something from the past:
- my very old and worn out Doc Martens (I wore them from 15 till 18 years old, and they even walked through the streets of Prague, during our last school trip!)
- my grandfather's radio
- my father's gramophone
- I watched Django ("D is silent, hillbilly!",I like that scene! I even like this movie, even if it was a bit distressing for me...)
- I bought some books on Amazon with my Mr
As I told you, nothing really interesting!!

But I 'm going to find out something great to share with you for the next days!!

In the evening we left our friends, and we arrived to the Hotel Edera in Baselga di Pinè (not Austria, Italy), where we rent a room thanks to smartbox, and it was great!!!!
The hotel was really awesome, and the owners were very friendly!
In the morning we visited the lakes of Baselga di Pinè....and tell me, what's the first movie that comes into your mind, looking at these photos?

My first time in Austria- part 2

And after a break at Loacker, we arrived (a little tired) in Lienz, where we had a great Teutonic lunch (even if it was 4 p.m.), with bratwurst, beers.....I think I loved every single part of this weekend!

 

And we come back to Italy!
