What made me smile during October 2016

So, 4 days of holidays in front of me. FOUR DAYS. A dream.
I need soooo much this precious time for myself and my Mr.
But, before October ends, I want to remember some things that put a smile in my face in this month:
- I read BFG by Roald Dahl: I know it's a book written for children, but sometimes I need to read (and watch) relaxing things: BFG is perfect.
- We have a new plant addiction, ready for winter
- When at evening I come back home, I drive in front of a vegetable shop, that cooks chestnuts. I don't like their taste, but they have an heavenly smell....so, when I drive in that street I slow down, I turn down the window and I smell as much as I can
- Pumpkins, mushrooms, cauliflowers....I love you
- An afternoon in Ferrara with my sister, my brother-in-law and my Mr where we saw the wonderful exhibition "Orlando Furioso 500 years - What Ariosto saw when he closed his eyes?"
I totally loved it, and I thought that I'm living in a world without poetry, with too much tecnology.
I hope you had a great October too!

Ho quattro giorni di vacanza in fronte a me.

October according to my smartphone

To be honest, nothing really important is happening to me in this period.
I have my internship, I have my boyfriend, and I have a looooot of this that I want to update in my life.
But I'm even happy for all that I have, so I think this is a good balance...

So, if my smartphone could talk, he would tell you that in October....

@_@ I cooked..... recipes are coming soon!If you're interested let me know! (on the left something like muffins but with a loooot of chocolate, and on right a savoury pie with vegetables)

@_@    I saw wonderful sunsets....

@_@ I fell in love with fall....

@_@  ....sometimes my boyfriend needs a personal shopper (left)  and my friends need to smile (right)!

...I really think this October ain't that bad!!!!

Everlasting Light *

Hope your week was good, but I hope you're having a bright weekend!

I know, tomorrow is Friday, but to me Friday is somehow better than Saturday...Friday evening has a special taste!

Well I put some nail polish, black this time (you know I'm a rebel) I'm listening to some good music, I'm looking forward the moment when I'll be under my blankets, and I'll read my book.

This was a good week: I met friends, my family, I run, I watched 2 episodes of "The Big Bang Theory" with my Mr yesterday evening, in 2 months it's going to be Christmas, today was cold, and I liked it, I drank the second hot chocolate of the season, I looked at the sky very frequently, because it is breathless. The only thing I didn't do and I really wanted to do, was taking photos, but don't worry, the weekend is looooong.... :)

7^  A colleague that comes into "my" office, and says: "Were you looking for a lens? a 50 mm? I found a big deal in amazon....." ^_^

An October weekend

.....and this is how fall looks like to me.
yellow and red leaves that fall down from trees, rain, and dark, and mushrooms, a blanket and a movie, some wool sweater, and some hot chocolate, pumpkins, a baking cake in the oven.... (she gave me the idea of the list of what I like of autumn....)
It's not a bad vision, to be honest.

Monday is already here, and this weekend is flown away:
On Saturday I baked some goooood little cakes-that-look-like-muffin-but-they-aren't! (I'm going to share the recipe with you veeery soon, because they are delicious!), then I went to a surprise party for the husband of one of my best friend. All Saturday I was without my boyfriend because he was ill...

On Saturday I took a ride with my bike around Padua, and....how I love my city!!!

On the afternoon I finally met my Mr, and because he was ill...we finished to watch How I met your mother 8, so... where can we buy the last season?
Personally I'm not in love with these last seasons, but you know, we want to know how everything ends!!!

How was your weekend?
Hope you had a good Monday! ;)

#1day12pics | October

I LOVE GARDENING!!!!
I planted all the tulip bulbs I bought in Amsterdam!

So, this was my first #1day12pics, I wanted to join this Photo Challenge since July, when I saw this for the first time... :)

Each month Michelle and Emma nominate a day to take a photo every hour all day and then you share your pics on social media and your blog (I just share them on my blog....)
It was very funny!!

And so this is how October is going to end

Here the weather is crazy....it's quite hot for being the end of October and it's wet and my hair looks like a nest.
In these days I'm having good times: I met old friends, I wear Doc Martens, and I'm in the period when I think that things and life is good. Hope this period lasts.

Yesterday evening I watched a wonderful movie.
For the first time since a lot of time I watch a movie from the beginning to the end, and I didn't fell asleep! (a big goal to me!)
The movie was Albert Nobbs, a very amazing movie, I hugely reccomend it!

I hope you're having a very beautiful day!

Bye Bye September!!!

I have two weeks for finishing this work . Not so much time, that's why I'm working hard on it!
Then, the firm where I'm "working" told me that they don't know if they could employ me at the end of November.
So, let's start with new job interviews!
So, bye bye September, Welcome October, please bring good news!!!!
