4 passi in Marano di Vapolicella (Verona)

The sun is shining and a new Sunday is about to start.
My heart melts when the sun arrives and I can stay outside for the whole day.
Last Sunday I spent a wonderful day, walking through cherry-trees, vineyards, and admiring how wonderful is where we live!
The event was called "4 passi" and we had to walk for about 9 km; after the first km we stop and we visit the first wine cellar, we taste some wine and we ate something.
We did this for 8 times. With friends.
It was great :)

The place is Marano di Valpolicella, it is in Verona, and I had a crush for it.

How I met your mother

Happy Easter dear friends!!!
How was your Easter day?
Here, we ate toooooo much (as usually!), Mr and I had a lunch with Mr's family, and then we met with my family.
At the end of the day, Mr and I watched the last episode of How I met your mother.
I didn't like too much the last season (#9), but the two last episodes worth the whole 9 season.
And now I lost some friends. I've already lost Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Chandler, Ross and Joy.
But while "Friends" is the series I watched with my sister, "How I met your mother" is Mr-and-I-series, we "grew up" with Marshall, Lily, Ted, Robin and Barney.
What can i say about this series?  I love it. Really.
Watch it.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Buona Pasqua a tutti!
Qui come sempre, abbiamo mangiato un sacco!

I envy this family....

On Sunday Mr and I took a stroll through hills.
And I envy the family that lives in this house:

They have a wonderfu view, a huge garden, a lot of trees....I thought of all the wonderful afternoons that kids can spend here in spring/summer.....
Now that spring is coming, I really need a garden where I can spend my weekends...
Just a little thought!!

See you soon!
Have a nice Friday dear friends!

Just a little update

Hello my dear friends!
days are flying so so so so fast!
 Here's some important things...

***On Friday, one of my cousins had a baby boy, named Gabriele!!! I cannot wait to see and hug and kiss him!!!

***In these days, some happy things happened thanks to the photos I post on my Instagram account...
- @igerssiena repost one of my photos
- @mattinopadova (a local newspaper) repost one of my photos
- @Hotel Athena Siena (on twitter) repost one of my photos
ok, just 3 repost...but they mean sooooooooo much to me!!!
I usually update a photo on Instagram before going to work, I just have 10 minutes, and my smartphone always sometimes has some problems....so that reposts, are miracles to me!!!

***I have a lot of white/grey hair....I think it's time for some dye....

***March 8th here in Padua was a very dark and grey day: it rained a loooot and the wind blow. While I was driving to my mum's home for lunch, I passed in front of a school.
There were a boy, under an umbrella, that was holding an orchid and some branch of mimosa.
Well, he was waiting for his girl.
This situation made me smile.

***netflix arrived in this house. OH MY GOD, I think i could stay at home from work for some months....Now we're watching the ninth season of  "How I met your mother"..... :)

***Today the sun is shining, so I'm gonna clean out the house, and enjoy a stroll!

I wish you a very very happy weekend!!

This my anniversary gift! an amarillis :)

"Le avventure della pice" meets "Ce n'est que de la chance" :)

Do ou remember when Mr and I went to Berlin last November?
Well, something special happened....
We met a wonderful girl, Rosa, that I first met on her nice blog "Ce n'est que de la chance"
It was so so so good spending a morning together!
I heard her voice for the first time, we really talk about a lot of things...it was like we know each other since so much time!
This is probably the best memory that I have about our journey in Berlin!

We met in Berlin, and we had a stroll through a fabric market.
We were talking each other, and it was snowing...well it really was magical!
Then we had a coffee and we talked and talked, she was there with her wonderful baby girl...while I was talking to her, I was thinking she was so good, so calm, she was a perfect mother, and a great person, I was very lucky to meet her!!
This is the power of the web!

I really hope we will meet again in the future!

One year in our house!

Good morning and happy Sunday everyone!
One year ago, Mr and I started our lives in our new house.
We packed our lives and start living together as a "family".
After one year, I can say that I'm really really happy to live with him.

During this year:
I broke a lot of glasses
I planted a loooot of plants
I cooked lots of vegetables
We had a lot of dinners with friends
We got engaged
We spent our first Christmas
We are planning our wedding.

So, this year has been good to us.
I just want to have so more time for us.

Here's some photos of our first year in our house:
the sky

Our breakfast
Our blackboard
Choosing the best guide
Wardrobe arrived in July!!

I think I should update this little blog more, but, to be honest, after a day spent in the office in front of my pc, in the evening the only thing I want is to do something far from technlogy!
I wish you a very happy Sunday!

Ansia da felicità (M. Ayane)

Sunday morning.
Mr is sleeping, and I'm listening to these wonderful songs. The sun shines in our living room, and it lights up my hyacinths and my plants
I read that writing what happens during our lives will make us thinking about our lives in a better way.
So, here I am.

On January 1st I promised myself that I want to come back home from work on time (they don't pay me for extra hours).
If I arrived at 8:30 am, I will leave the office at 17:30. During last week I did it. And I felt great.

I finally saw a little wonderful newborn boy. He is the son of one of my dearest friends. He is so soft, kind, his faces are so funny, and I already love him.

Mr and I are attending our prenuptial course. Here in Italy if you want to wed in church, you should attend a prenuptial course; the course is interesting, because we talk about topics that are important if you want to spend your whole life with another person.
Yesterday evening we were at the second lesson. The priest gave us important suggestions:
- always support your wife/husband
- always think that your relationship is the most important you have
- always look good for your man/woman
- enjoy the loyalty of your husband/wife
- appreciate and respect your husband/wife
- have a perfect harmony with her/him
- live your relationship with your friends
- live your relationship with God
well, i think these things are easy to say, but are difficult to be lived. Sometimes you are tired because of work, of our relationships ....
But, if you know it.....

So, have a wonderful Sunday my friends!

My blog, my happy place

Last Thursday I watched the movie Julia and Julie.
The girl has a blog and she loves cooking, do you know that movie?
I love it, plus there's a GREAT Meryl Streep....
So, I really thought "I have to write my blog! even if with little things, but I have to".
And so, here's my happy list for these first days of January:

I love hyacinths: my mum gave one before Christmas, and when it bloomed all the living room smelt good. So I bought other three hyacinths.

Yesterday evening Mr and I fall asleep together: we had some pillow-talk, and then...it was morning!

Talking with my sister, she knows me so so much, and I cannot think of a life without her.

Organizing our wedding!!! Honeymoon, location for the party, wedding dress, catering.....there's so many things to do!!
So, for now, we have the villa where we will eat, we have the church, I have the dress, and we're about to decide for our honeymoon....we think we will visit.....Iceland!!!
We would like to visit even:
- South Africa for a safari
- Cambodia and Thailand
- Peru
Where do you suggest we can go? I'm asking everyone!!!

Reading before sleeping

Having my mum for lunch on Sunday, and spend some quality time with her and my Mr.

Watching Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone while I'm writing this post.

Have a lovely night my dear friends!

I found this wonderful image here, but I don't know who did it, if you know, let me know

Let it snow!

Yesterday morning I woke up and, as always, I opened the shutter of the kitchen.
I looked outside with a still sleeping eyes...and... it was snowing.
Big, soft, cold snowflakes were falling down.
Everything around was white.
So I opened the window and I heard the 'sound' of snow. I love it. I can't describe it.
Then I realized: 'It's snowing. And. I'm. On. Holiday'
I had a fast breakfast, I put on my 'snow' boots, and, of course I had a stroll with my camera.

Isn't it magic?

Bye bye 2015. Hello 2016

Happy 2016 my dear friends!!!!
Well 2015 was good to me. A lot.
I think this 2016 will be good too.

In the last day of 2015 I drove to Padua listening to the new album of Coldplay, with the sun that was shining, to search for my wedding dress.
And yes, I found it.
It's wonderful, in my opinion.
I've never thought about me with a weeding dress, but, ehi!, it's so funny wearing wedding dresses!!
The first one was amazing, but it wasn't for me. Too much lace.
The second one was good, but it had a huge bow. Not for me.
The third one was the right one.
Everything was at the right place.
No lace, no bows.
Just perfection (for me).
And so, I've found it.
Now I just have to put on some muscles in my arms....;)

Then Mr and I spent the evening with our friends....well, I couldn't imagine a better way to say "bye bye" to 2015, that had been a great year for us.

Hope you had a great time too.

I wish you the best for this 2016:
I hope all your dreams will come true
I wish you'll get what you desire more
I hope you'll take that travel you want to do
I wish you'll quit your job because you would found a better one
I hope you will read a book every month
I hope you wil have the time for doing what you really want to
I hope all your flowers will grow and will smell nice your home
I hope your friends will ask you an advice
I wish you'll be strong because sometimes life is not easy
I hope you'll smile a lot during the year.

Merry Christmas!

I really hope you had a very Merry Christmas!!!
This was the first Christmas that Mr and I spent in our house, together, as a little family.
We had a dinner with Mr's mother, and then I felt asleep in Mr's arms.
And when I woke up it was Christmas.

Then I sang every songs during Mass (they reminded me my childhood).
I enjoyed every "Merry Christmas wish" kiss and text that I've received
I ate wonderfully with my family.
I saw how happy could be a child with a new toy.
I started to watch a movie, but I (again) felt asleep in Mr's arms.

I probably gained two Kilos, but it doesn't matter.
Our dishwasher is probably broken, but it doesn't really matter.
Outside it's foggy, but it doesn't matter.

On the 25th of June 2016, Mr and I will tie the knot.
And this really matter.

Happy and Merry Christmas my dear friends!!!
